2026 Rates & Fees

Below are the 2026 water and sewer rates. Setting rates is a responsibility we take seriously, and we understand the impact these changes can have on you and your household. Several significant factors are driving this year’s adjustments:

  • Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District wholesale rate increase of 7.6%.
  • Utah House Bill 274, which mandates increases to landscape water tier pricing.
  • Higher capital and maintenance costs for water and sewer piping materials due to tariffs.
  • A new Utah Division of Drinking Water fee.
  • Elimination of anticipated federal and state grant funding.
  • Ongoing $500,000,000 mandated renovations at the Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility.

Throughout the budgeting process, our goal has been to minimize impacts on residential single‑family customers, apply rates more equitably across all customer classes, and continue delivering safe, clean, and reliable water and sewer services. We remain committed to transparency and fiscal responsibility.

How Your Water and Sewer Rates Work

Our water rates follow a conservation‑based structure, meaning the cost per 1,000 gallons increases as usage increases. This structure encourages efficient water use and helps protect our long‑term water supply.

Your sewer charges may also be affected, as they are based on your average winter water usage (November through February), when outdoor watering is typically minimal.
